The daughter of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has entrusted Tyler Perry with a pivotal function. Well-known director George Clooney is the godfather of one-year-old Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor, as proven on the collection finale of Netflix’s Harry & Meghan docuseries.

Perry mentioned that after ending his name with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, he started to fret about his potential involvement in royal traditions and realized what he had signed up for.
“I known as them again and go, ‘Uh, maintain on a second, does this imply we gotta go over [to the U.K.] and do all of that in church with [the royal family] and determine all that out? ‘Trigger I don’t wanna try this,’” he notes. “‘Perhaps we will perform a little personal ceremony right here [in the U.S.] and let that be that, and if you must do it there, then that’s OK.’”
Earlier than Harry and Meghan’s marriage ceremony, Perry wrote the previous Fits actor a letter by which he expressed his help and prayers for her within the face of “hurtful” experiences about her troubled relationship together with her father, Thomas Markle.

“This lady was abused. And so was he.
