Astronaut Baz Aldrin marries on 93rd birthday, says he’s excited as a teenage.
Buzz Aldrin, the famous Korean War astronaut and military pilot, announced that he married his longtime love in Los Angeles on his 93rd birthday.
Aldrin is the second man to walk on the moon, having been part of the Apollo 11 mission, along with Neil Armstrong.
“I am pleased to announce that we have married my long-time love, Anka Fore. “We got married in a small private ceremony in Los Angeles and are as excited as runaway teenagers,” Aldrin tweeted.
Aldrin, who rose to fame with the Apollo 11 mission in 1969, was married and divorced three times before marrying Faure, who is 30 years his junior.
