Rick Harrison, the creator and lead cast member of the hit reality TV show “Pawn Stars,” is mourning the death of his son, Adam Harrison. Adam, who was 39 years old, tragically passed away from a drug overdose. This heartbreaking news was confirmed by Laura Herlovich, Rick’s representative, to The Las Vegas Review-Journal.

The Clark County Coroner has released an update on Adam’s death, ruling it as an accidental overdose caused by a toxic mix of fentanyl and methamphetamine. A detailed report from the Coroner will be provided at a later date.

This loss highlights the alarming rise in fentanyl-related deaths in the U.S. The CDC reported that in 2022, 73,654 people died from fentanyl overdoses, a figure that has more than doubled since 2019.

Adam, a plumber by profession, was not a regular cast member on “Pawn Stars,” which has been a fixture of television since 2009. However, he was involved in the family’s pawn shop, Gold & Silver Pawn, which serves as the backdrop for the show.

On behalf of the Harrison family, Laura Herlovich has requested privacy as they grieve. Rick Harrison paid tribute to his son on Instagram with a touching photo, writing, “You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam.”
