Originally from Portugal, she moved to Tottenham, UK, four years ago to live with relatives after her father’s passing and with her mother still in Portugal. Despite numerous attempts to seek assistance, she had not succeeded until she turned to the GoFundMe platform, aiming to raise approximately £40,000 (over 1.2 billion VND) for tuition, supplies, and living costs.
Moved by Vitoria’s story, Taylor Swift decided to contribute £23,000 to her cause. In her message, Swift expressed her admiration for Vitoria’s determination and effort: “Vitoria, I read your story online, and it truly inspires people because of your drive and your efforts to make your dreams a reality.
