It is with profound sadness that we grieve the loss of James Redford, our Co-Founder, our inspiration and our friend.
With Jamie came love and contagious joy. He approached everything he did with kindness and warmth, and an openness that spread itself easily among others. (1/5) pic.twitter.com/N3hbOh0ELr

According to Kyle, James’s wife, his cancer was discovered in November of last year while he was awaiting a liver transplant due to the recurrence of his liver condition two years earlier. James’s IMDb profile reveals that he had struggled with several health issues since he was young, including Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis, an autoimmune disease that damages the liver. He received two liver transplants in 1993 and went on to establish the James Redford Institute for Transplant Awareness, a non-profit organization aimed at raising awareness of organ and tissue donation.
James, Robert Redford’s third child, is survived by his wife Kyle and their two children, Dylan and Lena. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Robert Redford and the rest of James’s family during this challenging time. May James rest in peace.
