Six Generations of Women Pose for a Special Family Photo
A heartwarming family photo has recently gone viral, featuring six generations of women from the same family. The photo includes the oldest member, 98-year-old MaeDell Hawkins, and her great-great-great-granddaughter Zhavia, who was born in December.
The picture shows MaeDell cradling Zhavia in her arms, surrounded by her daughter, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter. According to Gracie Howell, MaeDell’s granddaughter, the family wanted to capture the moment as it was an all-girls gathering, which made it even more special.
Despite her age, MaeDell is still sharp and lively, and the family cherishes her wisdom and experience. The family photo has gained massive attention online, and Gracie is thrilled that it has provided her grandmother with some well-deserved recognition.
MaeDell has lived a remarkable life, having married her first husband at 16, who was 50 at the time. They welcomed 13 children together, and she was also a stepmother to his 10 children. MaeDell had to manage without modern amenities, but she never complained, and her family always had food on the table and clean clothes to wear.
Today, MaeDell lives in a nursing home, but her legacy lives on through her vast family. Gracie says that the family has had 621 babies so far, and the next one is on the way. MaeDell has outlived her husbands and all but one of her stepchildren, but her love and influence continue to touch the lives of her loved ones.
