In 1994, Brad Pitt became the owner of a 1.9-acre property purchased from Cassandra Peterson, also known as “Elvira,” for $1.7 million
The actor recently sold the property in March after owning it for 30 years. Peterson recently shared with People an exclusive interview about the sale and a surprising role Pitt played in the community.
According to Peterson, Pitt’s decision to expand the property led to him acquiring adjacent plots, including a home owned by a 90-year-old man named John.
Pitt offered John a deal to live on the family estate without paying rent until he passed away, which ended up being 105 years old.
Peterson described Pitt as generous and caring, and even shared a personal anecdote about encountering the actor while walking her dog.
Before his divorce from Angelina Jolie in 2016, Pitt lived in the house he bought from Peterson with his family.
