A heartwarming story has been making the rounds on social media. It’s about a woman who approached a store owner asking if she could take some products and pay later.
The woman explained that her husband was very ill, and they had seven children to feed. Unfortunately, the store owner was unsympathetic and asked the guards to kick the woman out. However, a customer overheard the conversation and intervened.
The customer asked the store owner if they could purchase the items the woman needed, but the store owner ignored them. Then, the store owner had an idea. He asked the woman for her shopping list and told her to put it on the scales. He promised to give her as much food as the weight of the list. The woman hesitated but eventually complied.
To everyone’s surprise, the scales didn’t move even though the store owner kept adding more and more food. Eventually, the woman took the piece of paper to check for a trick. To her amazement, the “shopping list” was actually a prayer that read, “Lord, the Lord knows my needs, I leave this situation in Your hands.” Touched by the woman’s faith, the store owner gave her all the food on the scales and let her go in peace.
