Italian artist, Alfredo Lo Brutto, captured a stunning photo of what appears to be Jesus with His arms outstretched during a sunset in Italy. Lo Brutto was in awe of the view and felt compelled to share the beauty with others. The photo went viral on social media, with many users claiming to see the shape of Jesus in the sky with His arms in a blessing gesture.
Lo Brutto’s perfect timing allowed him to capture the image when sunlight pierced through the clouds, creating an illuminated version of the Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The statue, made of reinforced concrete and soapstone, stands 120 feet tall and is considered one of the tallest statues of Christ ever made.
The photo was taken from Piazza Sanseverino, and according to Info Cilento in Italy, the luminous figure in the photo resembles a classic representation of Christ blessing, which has attracted the attention of many people.
This is not the first time that people have seen Jesus in surprising ways. Last year, Cathy Rader found the image of Jesus Christ on a horseshoe crab shell. She had been doing devotionals in the morning and felt that she had received a message from God. The following day, she spotted some odd markings on the crab shell sitting on the porch and saw the face of Jesus.
Images of Jesus caught in the clouds and other places are often considered a blessing and a message from God. It is proof that Jesus’ image can be found anywhere, reminding us of His presence and love for us.
We wish to hear from you!
